Focus on the now!

There are three keys to mindfulness and mindful living.

Focussed Attention

Open Awareness

Acceptance or Non-Judgement

The first two keys are about managing your mind and bringing yourself to the present moment — the now.

Focussed attention is developing the ability to concentrate on one thing at a time without being distracted by other thoughts or external stimuli. Meditation or deep breathing exercises can help calm the mind and improve focus.

On the other hand, open awareness involves being aware of everything happening around you without judgment or attachment. It means being fully present and engaged in the moment without trying to change or control anything.

The third key to mindfulness is acceptance or non-judgment. This involves letting go of the need to judge or evaluate everything that happens and simply accepting things as they are. This can be a significant challenge for many people, especially those who are used to being critical or judgmental…
